Founded in 1904,Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz is a private boarding school, where children from the Switzerland and from other countries learn. The school has 4 buildings (total area 130.000 square meters), about 200 students from all over the world lean here. At the time being there are 500 students at school.
Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz is located in the small, peaceful village Zuoz, which is situated in the middle of the Upper Engadine Valley, a most spectacular winter and summer resort region not far from the world-famous ski resort St.Moritz. Many rich and famous people have their holidays there.
The lyceum possesses a library, a media centre, class rooms. The Lyceum has its own sports field stretching over 70,000 square meters. It includes a driving range with chip and pitch equipment, an ice rink, tennis courts, soccer field, a mountain climbing tower, a cricket and field hockey field, field and track facility, and a triple-chamber gym with a fitness room. Students are individually guided and encouraged by qualified and dedicated instructors.
The Lyceum Alpinum is an important cultural vehicle in the Engadine. It organizes concerts, stage productions and literary readings for its students and the general public. A variety of sport activities is offered.

Residences for girls:
Chesa Arpiglia. In the residence there are several common room, a video hall,a music hall, spacious terraces and 38 single rooms. Every room is equipped with a bathroom, a telephone and an Internet access.
The residence Mädchenhaus is for 43 people (19 single rooms and 12 double rooms). Girls aged from 11 to 18 live here, a warm atmosphere is created.

Residences for boys:
The residence Grosshaus is for 70 people, most of whom live in 68 single rooms and there is also one double room. Every room has hot and cold water, a telephone and an Internet access. A shower and a toilet are placed in the corridor. There are also a video hall, a kitchen and open terraces here.
Kleinhaus is a residence for the youngest boys. Every young student is perfectly carried for, what helps him to adapt to the new surroundings easier. The number of students in a group is 16 persons.

The school offers:

• Preparatory courses to secondary school
• Secondary education with specialization -natural sciences, economics and law, art and design.
• Receiving of diplomas Matura (the Swiss diploma), Abitur (the German diploma), IB (International Baccalaureate), IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education – a British certificate)
• Commercial/Vocation School Diploma. The program qualifies students for the professional commercial, IT colleges and for colleges of modern languages.
• Summer camps for children aged from 11 to 15 (15 English or German lessons per week), living in a residence with full pension, excursions, sports and cultural activities.
