Location
The Institut auf dem Rosenberg is located between Lake Constance and the Alpstein (part of the Alps), which allows intense experiences of the changing seasons and a near unlimited range of sporting activities for children and young people. Clean air, a temperate climate and healthy, natural surroundings help our young people to counterbalance the over-stimulation from which most of them suffer today.

Campus
Students of the Institut auf dem Rosenberg live in separate houses according to age-groups. The campus is located in an exclusive residential district with the school grounds extending to over 100,000 m2. The houses are interspersed with lawns, idyllic niches, and literally hundreds of roses blooming all summer. Unchanged for over a century, the entire site breathes reassurance and a sound solidity.

German Section
Linguistic and scientific programmes The German Section prepares students for the state-recognised "Deutsches Abitur"; examinations are held here at the Institut. The Abitur enables successful candidates unrestricted access to German institutions of higher learning.

Anglo-American Section
The Institut auf dem Rosenberg offers a "College-preparatory programme" including all the subjects required for a complete university preparation. This programme is in ENGLISH. The Anglo-American Section is a test centre for all major American and British examinations: SAT, ACT, AP, TOEFL, GCEs, etc.
The College Counselling Service assists students in selecting the right colleges and universities and guides them through the application process. We strive to ensure that all successfully graduating seniors gain a university place. Students with a low command of English attend a special intensive EFL-programme (English as a Foreign Language). They are integrated step by step into the regular school programme.

Swiss Section
Swiss Matura – "Schweizer Maturitat"
"Primarschule" in accordance with the curriculum of the city of St. Gallen (grades 1 to 6) "Sekundarschule" in accordance with the curriculum of the city of St. Gallen "Gymnasium" (preparation for the Swiss Matura in co-operation with the "Kantonssschule" Trogen.) Higher National Diploma ("VSH Diplom")

Italian Section
Esame di Stato
The Italian Section of the Institut auf dem Rosenberg is state-recognised and prepares students for the Esame di Stato, types "Scientifica", "Linguistica" and "Commerciale". Students of the Institut auf dem Rosenberg who have passed the "Maturita Italiana" have unrestricted access to universities in Switzerland.
