The University of Business & Finance, Switzerland (UBFS) was founded by a conglomerate of leading experts from the Swiss financial industry. The university was established with the goal of educating outstanding international business leaders who are ready to tackle the challenges of a dynamic and rapidly changing world.

BBA IN FINANCE

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance program spans three particular areas of study: private finance, corporate finance, and banking and insurance. The program is designed to develop experts who are capable of making effective financial decisions regarding private wealth management, and within corporations and financial institutions. This capability is dependent upon a solid foundation in financial analysis, budgeting, capital and asset valuation, business units and company valuation, and equities and international financial markets.

Knowledge in risk and portfolio management is also vital to becoming qualified in the financial services industry. Certain areas of concentration lead to skills in assessing the financial health of companies, both in regards to working capital management and debt management. Primarily, students will be instructed on how to conduct financial statement and ratio analysis, and the associated decision-making process based upon the results of such calculations. The BBA in Finance program also aims to instruct students on the intricacies involved in functionality, communication, and interaction within an organization.

BBA IN INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT

The goal of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Management program is to provide students with a complete groundwork in the field of business administration that gives students significant insight into managerial processes. Emphasis is given to all issues related to international business and trade, thereby enhancing students’ capability of doing business in a globalized economy. This management program focuses on topics such as marketing strategy, product design, supply and distribution management, management information systems, human resource management, financial management, and general business strategy.

The three specific areas of concentration are international marketing & distribution, international business & trade, and e-economy (covering e-related issues such as e-infrastructure, e-management, and e-marketing).

MBA IN FINANCE

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance program aims to give individuals currently employed in the finance industry, or who have completed their undergraduate degrees, an opportunity to upgrade and refine their current skills.

This program focuses primarily on the banking, insurance, and financial services industries. It spans three particular areas of concentration: private finance, corporate finance, and banking and insurance management.

MBA IN INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management program is specifically designed to meet the needs of current professionals who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge in international management, business and trade. The program aims to aid managers in effectively managing international business units, and teaches them how to assert the specific operational and organizational demands of an enterprise in a globalized economy.

The three specific areas of concentration are: international marketing & distribution, international business & trade, and e-economy (covering e-related issues such as e-infrastructure, e-management, and e-marketing).

MBA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hospitality Management has been designed to provide students with the necessary skills to become effective international managers in the service sector. Building on a strong foundation in business and management this program seeks to re-spond to key challenges facing the hospitality industry. The three concentrations span the following topics: international hospitality management, hotel operations management, strategic hospitality management.

PREPARATORY TERM

Holders of a bachelor degree other than economics, business administration, commerce, finance, or equivalent are requested to perform a one-term preparatory program.

INTERNSHIPS

Internships at Swiss companies will be offered to students who satisfy the criteria of excellence both professionally and socially. Internships take three to twelve months depending on availability.
