Christmas and New Year skiing holidays from 26 December 2010 to 9 January 2011 for children from the age of 8 to 13 in the Swiss fairytale village of Hérémence

This year we are offering a winter break in an Alpine chalet in the Swiss fairytale village of Hérémence – the setting of many Valais legends, which is located at the foot of the slopes of the Four Valleys.

The skiing paradise stretches from Verbier and La Tsoumaz to Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon 2000 and comprises 412 slopes serviced by 92 lifts. Hérémence is located directly at the foot of the Thyon 2000 station www.thyon-region.ch.

Accommodation

The chalet is called Ferme Pédagogique: here the behaviour of animals can be examined by watching them through a specially equipped large window.

Four bedrooms sleeping four and spacious showers, a living room, hall and restaurant await the children.

Madame Antoinette Dayer, the manager of the guesthouse, cooks her signature dishes for the camp. The produce is from the Ferme Pédagogique or the immediate neighbours. The cuisine is European and Swiss.

ACTIVITIES

Outdoor activities and sport

Beginners have skiing lessons with an instructor 5 days a week. The group consists of no more than 6 people. The camp bus takes the children to the “blue” pistes, where the exercises are held. It is possible to ski down to the camp

The price of a two-week holiday in the Carrousel Camp International is CHF 5,785
